Our Purpose

Christ--Learn Love

We believe in inside out ministry.  Everything flows outward from our relationship with God.  Without this relationship there is no ministry because the ministry is Christ’s not ours.  We start by learning the unconditional love of God.

Community--Live Love

As love is learned we need a context in which to practice it.  As we come together regularly with others who are doing the same, we begin to grow in our ability to love others as we have been loved by God. 

Compassion--Change the World

As we put the radical love of God  into practice, it has the power to transform the world around us in the same way we ourselves have experienced transformation. 

Our Process

Spiritual Formation

Everything we do revolves around practicing the classic spiritual disciplines and helping others to do the same.

Building Authentic Community

Living and serving with others who find connection through the mission of The Scruffy Pilgrim via local church engagement, blogging, videos, social media, etc.

Trail Ministry

Moving outside the boundaries of our places of worship to love and serve people on The Camino de Santiago and other places of contemplation and community.

We adhere to the Nicene Creed as our statement of faith.
